Facebook Facelift

A week ago, Facebook got a facelift, as you can probably tell when you logged on Wednesday morning. It is said to have a more user-friendly approach. It has a streamlined navigation and the messaging works in a different, easier way.
“Facebook is a technology company with a highly iterative development process and we’re constantly improving how the site works,” Mark Zuckerberg, founder and CEO of Facebook, said in a statement. “Our goal with the latest changes is to help users navigate the site more easily and share information more efficiently.”
Where there used to be a ‘My Messages’ tab, has now been replaced with ‘Inbox.’ This enables users to send a message to a group of people rather than just one person at a time. I dont know how I feel about this new change.
Facebook is trying to change the sense of community and web 2.0. Facebook has a target audience of 15-25. They want to reach out to crowds older than 25. Which Myspace has already achieved.
